Dr Nina Shaffie is a multiple award-winning Specialist Orthodontist, international lecturer, and speaker who has built her reputation on precision, artistry, and a deeply patient-centred approach. She is renowned for delivering exceptional orthodontic care in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Graduating with Honours from Barts and The London School of Dentistry in 2010, Nina went on to complete further training in Maxillofacial Surgery at The Royal London and The Homerton Hospitals, gaining valuable experience in trauma, orthognathic, and head-and-neck surgery. She later combined general practice with a part-time teaching role in Oral Surgery at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry.
Her research has been presented at national and international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals. She remains an active member of leading orthodontic societies in the UK and abroad.

Nina completed her specialist orthodontic training at King’s College Hospital, Stoke Mandeville Hospital, and Wexham Park Hospital. She graduated top of her class with a Distinction in Orthodontics and was awarded the prestigious Philip Walther Prize for the most outstanding performance at King’s College London. She also obtained her Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and completed a clinical attachment in Orthodontics in Sydney, Australia.
Her clinical excellence has been recognised through numerous accolades, including Best Orthodontic Practice South (2023), Best Young Orthodontist South (2022), and Best Young Dentist South East (2018), with multiple finalist nominations across other major dental awards. She now serves as a Judge for the Private Dentistry and Clinical Dentistry Awards, recognising and mentoring excellence across the profession.
As Vice President of PEERs Orthodontics and a member of the Clinical Advisory Panel for SureSmile, Nina contributes her expertise to the advancement of digital orthodontics and modern interdisciplinary care. Her lectures and masterclasses have inspired clinicians worldwide, combining scientific precision with aesthetic artistry.
